Itinerary : 10 Days Morocco Tour
Day 1 : Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Day 1 of your trip will begin with a departure from Casablanca. You will then travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here you will explore the city and its many attractions, such as the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. After exploring Rabat, you will continue your journey to Chefchaouen, a beautiful mountain town in northern Morocco. Here you will explore the winding streets and vibrant blue buildings of the old medina. You will also have the opportunity to visit some of the local markets and taste the delicious local cuisine.
Day 2 : Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fes
Start with a departure from Chefchaouen. You will then travel to Meknes, a city known for its impressive architecture and grand monuments. Here you will explore the old medina, the Bab Mansour gate and the royal palace. After exploring Meknes, you will continue your journey to Fes, the oldest of Morocco’s imperial cities. Here you will explore the bustling souks and narrow alleyways of the old medina. You will also have the opportunity to visit some of the local mosques and palaces, as well as taste the delicious local cuisine.
Day 3 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt
Departure from Fes. You will then travel to Ifrane, a picturesque mountain town known for its ski resort and alpine scenery. After exploring Ifrane, you will continue your journey to Azrou, a small town in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Here you will explore the cedar forests and have the opportunity to visit some of the local Berber villages. You will then continue your journey to Midelt, a small town in the High Atlas Mountains. Here you will explore the rugged mountainous landscape and have the opportunity to visit some of the local Berber villages.
Day 4 : Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
You will then head to the Ziz Valley, a beautiful desert landscape dotted with palm groves and oases. After exploring the valley, you will continue your journey to Erfoud, a small town known for its fossil deposits. Here you will have the opportunity to visit some of the local fossil sites and learn about the geological history of the area. You will then continue your journey to Merzouga, a small desert town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here you will ride a camel in the desert and spend the night in a traditional desert camp.
Day 5 : Nomads of Merzouga and gnaoua music show Berber lunch return to the bivouac
Visit of a local nomadic family. Here you will learn about their way of life and have the opportunity to taste their traditional tea. You will then continue your journey to a Gnaoua music show, where you can experience the unique sounds of this ancient music. After the show, you will enjoy a traditional Berber lunch before returning to your desert camp for the night.
Day 6 : Merzouga – Tazarine – Zagora Desert
Travel to Tazarine, a small village in the Draa Valley. Here you will explore the local markets and have the opportunity to learn about henna tattooing. You will then continue your journey to Zagora, a small desert town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here you will explore the desert landscape and have the opportunity to explore the palm grove. Night at the hotel.
Day 7 : Zagora – Tamgrout – Agdz – Ouarzazate
Departure from Zagora. You will then visit Tamgrout, a small village known for its old library and pottery. After exploring Tamgrout, you will continue your journey to Agdz, a small oasis town in the Draa Valley. Here you will explore the local markets and have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Tamnougalt. You will then continue your journey to Ouarzazate. Night at the hotel.
Day 8 : Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
