Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
You will leave for Ifrane, a ski resort located at an altitude of 1,600 meters. You can admire its mountainous landscapes and cedar forests. Continue your journey to Azrou, a Berber village located 1,800 meters above sea level. You can see monkeys walking around in the trees. Then you will head to Midelt, a town located 1,500 meters above sea level. You can admire its mountainous landscapes. You will continue your journey to the Ziz Valley, a spectacular landscape of canyons and deep gorges. Then visit Erfoud, a city known for its fossils and salt mines. Finally, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will take a camel ride through the desert. You can admire the sunset and spend the night in a camp.
Day 2 : Excursion in the desert
You will start your day with a visit to the nomads who live in the desert. You will be able to get to know their way of life and their customs. Then have lunch in a local restaurant where you can taste a Berber pizza. You will then visit the Gnaoua, a group of musicians who play traditional instruments. You will then return to the camp for a Berber evening with traditional songs and dances.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Midelt – Fes
